CADDXFPV / Walksnail — cameras and digital video systems for FPV

CADDXFPV is a Chinese manufacturer specialising in cameras and video transmission systems for FPV drones. In recent years the company's centre of gravity has moved to Walksnail Avatar — a closed digital FPV system comprising a camera, a video transmitter (VTX) and either goggles or a desktop receiver. Avatar transmits HD video at low latency and records in parallel to memory inside the camera itself (8GB or 32GB depending on the model), so the recorded footage is not limited by link quality. What attracts professional users is the modularity: cameras of different sizes (Nano, Mini, Pro, Moonlight) mount to the same transmitter, you can choose between a single antenna and a dual-antenna configuration, and lenses are field-replaceable. The Moonlight system is built for low-light conditions.

What we supply from CADDXFPV

  • Walksnail Avatar HD Goggles X and Goggles L, with or without a camera, and replacement lens frames.
  • The Avatar FPV VRX desktop receiver in various bundles with camera and transmitter kits.
  • Camera + VTX kits: Avatar HD Nano Kit V3 (9cm and 14cm cable), Mini 1s and Mini 1s Lite, HD Kit V2 with Gyroflow and 8GB/32GB storage, and the Avatar HD Pro Kit.
  • Standalone VTX modules: Avatar HD VTX V2 (8GB/32GB, also in a dual-antenna version), Mini VTX V3 and Moonlight VTX.
  • Moonlight low-light kits, the Avatar GT kit (VTX and cooling fan), and the Avatar Repeater for extended coverage.
  • Accessories: replacement lenses for Nano V3, Micro, Micro V2 and Moonlight/Pro cameras, coaxial cables and an XT60 power lead.

Who it is for

  • Aerial filming teams that need high-quality recording on the aircraft itself, independent of wireless link quality.
  • Builders working in very small airframes (sub-250 and Mini) where system weight and camera dimensions are the binding constraint.
  • Survey and inspection missions in changing light, where low-light camera sensitivity is critical.
  • Training courses and workshops running several aircraft against a single viewing station, using a desktop receiver.
